🎹 Special Guest: Matthew Whitaker

Internationally acclaimed pianist/organist Matthew Whitaker brings his electrifying blend of jazz, gospel, and soul to Allentown for a rare vesper performance. A prodigious bandleader and composer, Whitaker has appeared on 60 Minutes, The Today Show, Ellen, and more; performed at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and the Apollo Theater; and was recently named the inaugural artist-in-residence at Augustana University’s School of Music. His 2024 album On Their Shoulders: An Organ Tribute celebrates the lineage of the Hammond B-3 and earned a 2025 NAACP Image Awards nomination for Outstanding Jazz Album.
